Step Two: Design
The first part of your site’s design is to wireframe it. For those of you who are unfamiliar with what exactly wireframing is - you can think of it as a flowchart and storyboard. We take your information and arrange it so that the communication of the important points is the most important thing - not the design. Once we have that in place we can move on to actually creating and laying out the graphical elements of your site.
Following the wireframe comes the actual design. Everyone loves this part. We take your wireframe and make it look as pretty as can be. Important in this phase is the research about your demographic - we need to make it look like something that your clientelle wants to look at and use. And did I mention that the design makes your site pretty? -
Step Three: Site Construction
Next is one of the boring parts - coding out your page. We take your design and turn it into a living, breathing piece of the web. I often tell clients that this is where your design comes to life. it really is amazing to see your design go from a static image to a fully composed website.
After we code up your site comes the part where we put your information in. This is where you get to see your particular content blossom. This is also the part where we iron out any of the inconsistancies that may have made it this far and make sure you like what you see in action. -
Step Four: Deployment
The last step of the development cycle is testing and deployment. We take your site and run it through the browser gauntlet and make sure it holds its salt. We test it on every device and connection that we can and when it comes out the other side it is a bulletproof piece of website.
After that we take any sort of SEO or SEM into consideration. Your site is optimized for search engine readability and if you have opted to partake in some search engine marketing we set that in motion.
Lastly we debrief you. This entails teaching you everything you need to know about what will happen after the site is live. this includes training you in use of whichever content management system you have chosen (if you chose to use one).
